Solberg stronger than bad luck

Is it possible to be forced to retire from an important race and, at the same time, increase the overall advantage against the opponents? For Petter Solberg it is.

The World Rallycross champion, in spite of the mechanical issue that got him away from the fight for Sweden GP, is now 44 points ahead: 9 more than he was before racestart. The Norwegian, out of the podium for the firts time this season, can now look to the next round (Canada, August 7&8) with an optimistic spirit.
